We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense (i.e., in exchange for money); however, as described in Supplement A, certain sharing of data with advertising and analytics partners may be deemed “selling” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA.

Sharing That May Constitute “Selling” or “Sharing” Under Applicable Law
Certain sharing of personal information with advertising and analytics partners — specifically, the sharing of identifiers (such as IP addresses and device identifiers), Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity data, and Geolocation Data with Google Analytics, Pinterest, and other advertising technology partners through cookies and tracking technologies — may be deemed “selling” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. You have the right to opt out of such selling/sharing. Please see Section 4 and use our cookie preferences tool (accessible via the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our website) or contact legal@artessencegroup.com.

Legal Requirements and Safety

SECTION 3 — DO NOT TRACK
Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. The Internet industry has not reached a consensus on a uniform standard for DNT, and we do not alter our data collection or use practices in response to DNT signals. However, you may manage your tracking preferences by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our website, which allows you to opt out of certain categories of cookies and tracking technologies, including advertising and analytics cookies.
For further information regarding the categories of cookies and tracking technologies used on our website, please see Section 8 below.

You may exercise this right by clicking the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of our website or by contacting us as set forth below.

To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us by:
- Email: legal@artessencegroup.com
- DSAR Form: DSAR Form
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 30 calendar days (extendable by an additional 60 days with notice to you). Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to exercise your privacy rights. If you would like to appoint an authorized agent, you must provide the agent with written, signed permission to submit privacy right requests on your behalf, or provide a letter from your attorney. The agent must provide this authorization at the time of the request. We may require you to verify your identity directly with us before we provide any requested information to your authorized agent.
SECTION 5 — SECURITY
Security Measures
We limit access to personal information that we collect about you to our employees and third-party agents who we reasonably believe need to have access to your information to provide you with the information or services you request from us. Initio Parfums Privés maintains a data security program that implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information of U.S. residents against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, destruction, or misuse. Our safeguards include:
- Administrative safeguards — designating personnel responsible for the security program; identifying and assessing reasonably foreseeable internal and external risks; training employees on security practices; and selecting service providers capable of maintaining appropriate safeguards.
- Technical safeguards — protecting information in transit and at rest through encryption (including SSL/TLS), access controls, and intrusion detection measures.
- Physical safeguards — securing physical locations where personal information is maintained and implementing reasonable disposal practices for records and media containing personal information.
While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, or alteration to data will not occur, we ensure that our systems adhere to market security standards so as to help safeguard against such occurrences.
Where information is provided to us via our website, in certain areas the information passed between your browser and our system is encrypted with secure sockets layer (“SSL”) technology to create a protected connection between you and our Site to ensure confidentiality. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We will use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions about our security, you can email us.
Breach Notification
In the event of a security incident involving the unauthorized access, acquisition, or disclosure of personal information, Initio Parfums Privés will notify affected U.S. residents and applicable state regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable state breach notification laws. Notification will be provided without unreasonable delay and, where specified by applicable law, within the period required by that law (typically within 30 to 45 days of discovery). Notifications will include, to the extent known at the time of notification, a description of the incident, the categories of personal information involved, and contact information for Initio Parfums Privés.
Children’s Privacy Protection
The Company does not target and its website is not intended for children under the age of 13. The Company will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, and will delete such information upon discovery. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If a parent or legal guardian believes that their child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us without verifiable parental consent, they should contact us immediately at legal@artessencegroup.com. Upon verification, we will promptly review and delete any such personal information.
SECTION 6 — OPTING OUT
If you do not wish to receive certain communications from us you may opt out by: (1) declining the service offered; (2) informing us that you no longer wish to receive such communications; or (3) clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send. We will comply with such requests unless such communications from us are required by law or do not require your consent under applicable laws. Your opting out may restrict our ability to provide you with the full extent of our services.
SECTION 7 — RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We retain personal information for no longer than reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law. Our standard retention periods are:

We do not collect or retain “Sensitive Personal Information” as defined by the CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ae)) beyond what is strictly necessary for the disclosed purposes of operating our website and fulfilling orders. In particular:
- We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, state identification card numbers, or passport numbers.

As Sensitive Personal Information is not collected or retained by Initio Parfums Privés (with payment data handled entirely by processors), the CPRA right to limit use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information is not directly applicable to our operations. However, consumers may contact us at legal@artessencegroup.com to raise any concerns.
A.4 California Consumer Rights
Right to Know (Access)
You have the right to request that we disclose to you: (1) the categories of personal information we have collected about you; (2) the categories of sources from which we collected your personal information; (3) the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing your personal information; (4) the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information; and (5) the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, where retention is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with a legal obligation, or for other legitimate purposes under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.105).
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.
Right to Opt Out of Sale / Sharing
As described in Section 2 and Section A.2 above, Initio Parfums Privés shares certain personal information (including identifiers such as IP addresses and device identifiers, and Internet / Electronic Network Activity data) with advertising and analytics partners through cookies in a manner that may constitute “selling” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA.
You have the right to opt out of the selling or sharing of your personal information at any time. To exercise this right:
- Click the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our website at us.initioparfums.com to opt out of advertising and analytics cookies. This link is accompanied by the California-approved opt-out icon as required under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.135.

- DSAR Form: DSAR Form
We will process your opt-out request within 15 business days of receipt. Once you opt out, we will not sell or share your personal information unless you subsequently provide explicit authorization.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information to uses necessary to provide the goods or services you request or for other permitted purposes under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121. As noted in Section A.3, Initio Parfums Privés does not collect or retain Sensitive Personal Information beyond what is processed by third-party payment processors under their own policies. This right is therefore currently not directly applicable to Initio Parfums Privés' own data processing. Please contact us at legal@artessencegroup.com if you have concerns.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not: deny you goods or services; charge you different prices; provide a different quality of goods or services; or suggest that you will receive a different price or quality of goods or services because you exercised your rights. However, we may offer different prices or different levels of service if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided by your personal information, such as through a loyalty program offered pursuant to a financial incentive program (see Section A.8).
Right Regarding Automated Decision-Making
You have the right to opt out of the use of automated decision-making technology, including profiling, in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Initio Parfums Privés does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on consumers and is not used for credit decisions, employment decisions, or other profiling with legal effects. Accordingly, this right is currently of limited applicability to our operations. Contact legal@artessencegroup.com for questions.
Additional information regarding our use of cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies is provided in Section 8 of this Policy.
A.5 How to Submit Requests
California residents may submit a verifiable consumer request to exercise the rights described in Section A.4 using the following methods:

We will provide our response in a readily usable format and, for access requests, deliver it electronically free of charge.
We are required to verify your identity before processing your request. We will use reasonable measures to verify your identity, which may include matching information you provide against information we have on file. We cannot respond to your request if we cannot verify your identity.
If we decline to take action in response to your request, you may appeal our decision by resubmitting your request with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal” and a brief explanation of your concerns. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will inform you of any additional remedies available, which may include contacting the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) or the California Attorney General.
A.6 Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA/CPRA request on your behalf. Initio Parfums Privés may share personal information with third-party advertising and marketing partners for their own direct marketing purposes, subject to your consent and opt-out rights as described in this Policy. California residents who wish to request information about such disclosures may contact us at:

We will respond to verified Shine the Light requests within 30 days of receipt.
A.8 Financial Incentives
From time to time, and only where permitted by applicable law, we may offer financial incentives — such as discounts, premium features, or other benefits — in connection with the collection, retention, or sale of personal information (for example, as part of a loyalty or referral program). Where we do so, we will:
- Notify you of the financial incentive or price or service difference before you opt in;
- Explain the material terms of the financial incentive program, including the categories of personal information implicated and the value of your data to our business;
- Obtain your separate opt-in consent to the financial incentive before enrolling you; and
- Honor your right to withdraw from the program at any time without penalty, by contacting us at legal@artessencegroup.com.
We will not use financial incentive structures that are unjust, unreasonable, coercive, or usurious in nature. Any financial incentive we offer will be reasonably related to the value of the personal information we collect in connection with it.
